The annual College Entrance Examination results have been unveiled. Under the joint efforts of all the teachers and students from the 12th grade, the results lived up to expectations, which overfulfilled the goals and tasks of Anqing Foreign Language School and hit a new high!
Among this year's 380 examinees, 249 students are qualified for undergraduate courses with a rate of 65.5%; A total of 82 students reached the enrollment mark of key universities with a rate of 21.6%.
Wang Youjia got the highest score of 606 in science. In addition, Pei Pei got 595, Zheng Shihao got 595 and Yao Qiyuan got 586. Meanwhile, Chan Zhujun received the highest score of 570 in liberal arts, followed by Chen Tianhong with 558 points and Chen Panpan 550.
Three years ago, nine students scored more than 700 points in the Senior High School Entrance Examination: Pei Pei, Ma Jianghong, Xiao Yang, Zhang Peijia, Qian Xinrui, Xia Yuankun, Chan Zhu Jun, Wang Yixue and Wang Zihao, all of whom reached the minimum passing score of key universities with the rate of 100%.
Three years ago, 170 students scored more than 600 points in the Senior High School Entrance Examination, 140 of whom are qualified for undergraduate courses in terms of general knowledge courses with a passing rate of 82.3%.
Song Weiqiang, who obtained 578.5 points in the Senior High School Entrance Examination three years ago, scored 30 points above the passing score of undergraduate colleges. In addition, Xu Hongwei, Sha Haoyu, Zhang Run and Su Peng exceeded the minimum passing score of second-tier universities, who respectively got 588, 567, 536 and 510 In the Senior High School Entrance Exam three years ago.
104 students who majored in arts and sports participated in this year's College Entrance Examination, 102 of whom reached the minimum passing score of regular college courses with the rate of 98.1%.
In addition, the average score of Japanese in the Japanese class increased by 48 points. In particular, Cao Yiwu and Chen Xinyu scored only 584 points and 575 points respectively in the Senior High School Entrance Examination. However, their scores in the College Entrance Examination were all above the minimum passing score of second-tier universities. What's more, their scores in English in the Senior High School Entrance Examination were all less than 40 points, but their scores in Japanese in the College Entrance Examination increased by about 60 points.
Furthermore, all the students of this year's study-abroad class have received the admission notice of University of California. More noticeably, Xia Chengqi, Zhou Aixin, Yuan Wangqi, Sheng Zijian, Zhao Dong, Zhang Zhimin, Zhang Xuan and Jin Mengjie who went to study in the United States the year before last have been transferred to UC San Diego, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC Riverside and UC Santa Barbara respectively.
